I have a divine mission to take care of the wonderful body God gave me.
In this blog I relate my experience and trials in getting myself fit and healthy once again, while incorporating a gluten-free and dairy-free diet into my life.

Leaving?
I discovered a great exercise for the obliques! Raking leaves! It gives the waist, shoulders, and back a really good workout.
Somewhere in this picture, our giraffe Ginger is hiding in the leaves. Can you find her?
Oh my goodness...I never actually knew how much work raking leaves was until I started doing it! :) But it's nice to know you can get a real work out and actually get some yard work done, too!
Whenever I rake leaves I remember when my son was born almost 15 years ago because doing that the night before sent me into labor. Highly recommended for that condition!
Wow... it took a while to find the giraffe. That was fun though. Haven't raked leaves for a loooong time, and I am need of a good workout, so putting two and two together should be fun... ;)
I love this post. So cute! Such a fun idea! I'm curious, though... Ginger showed up all of a sudden, and now she's everywhere! What's the story behind her?
Also, thank you so much for always posting on my blogs. I think it's gonna help in my quest for greatness if I know at least one person reads what I write!!! :)
Found her!! I won't say where, but I will say that when you know where she is she's easy to locate :)

ReplyDeleteAnd this is why I love living in a townhome where landscapers take care of all of that. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is a great exercise! Found you on MMB...
ReplyDeleteOur house in NC had never ending leaves. I let my husband get the exercise (for the first year, then we bought a leaf blower!)

Ginger is a way for us to connect with the grandchildren. We miss them so much! She goes all sorts of places with us and we take pictures.
